The man, the myth, the…..diabetic.
Born in New Orleans in November of 1982. Justan “Sharpie” Carlson has been drawing since he could pick up a crayon and draw on the walls. He started tattooing in June of 2004,. He was one of the first people to do scarification in the quad cities and chances are if you’ve seen someone with a branding in that area; he did it.
Justan specializes in zombie/horror art. His passion lies in all horror movies, southern culture and “braaaaaains”. Throughout his life so far; he’s lived everywhere but the east coast, he enjoyed Canada and New Orleans the most. Although he has type 1 diabetes, he doesn’t let that slow him down; much less allow it to be a hinderance in his natural born talents.
Justan will always go out of his way to ensure your tattoo will look as good in 5+ years as it does the day it is done! Sizing and detail are major in tattooing!
